This is the OFNA Ultra LX2E RTR 1/8 Electric Off Road Buggy. The ULTRA LX2 ELECTRIC continues the legacy of the Ultra series, bringing new innovative features to this hi-performance 1/8th scale off-road buggy. OFNA's research and development team found that this kit was easy to drive with smooth and consistent handling, thanks to new features such as 16mm big bore shocks, triad racing tires and C-hub suspension. The ULTRA LX2E has tons of travel to cover all sorts of terrain and high flying jumps. With so many variables you can dial the buggy in for high speed runs or as a track worthy vehicle. Multiple adjustments on the LX2 can be made like shock positions, rear toe and ride height, while adjustable turnbuckles allow you to set the camber and front toe in. Shocks and diffs can also be tweaked with different viscosity oils to adjust for traction and reaction of the shocks for loose and bumpy to high bite and smooth tracks.

The ULTRA LX-2 has a C-Hub Suspension which is the competitors choice! Molded from strong Dupont nylon this pro design has plenty of steering. Look closely, the pivot screw is OFNA's patented T-bolt king pin design, making this a solid foundation to prevent losing a locking bolt. Even after locking bolt failure, the king pin will not fall out. The suspension is supported by ONFA's popular 16mm big bore shocks, giving the LX-2 a perfect balance of oil volume for bumps and a plush, but firm ride. These Big Bore's are the best of the bunch and are stock with the LX-2 and other OFNA pro buggies. The hardcoated shock bodies have threaded collars for easy ride height adjustability, and this hardcoating is carried over all aluminum parts such as; shock towers, front plate, hinge pin holders, radio tray and fully countersunk chassis. 3.5mm shock shafts with threaded hardcoated shock bodies and caps make for a strong and long lasting shock. Ride height is easily adjusted by turning the collars to the ride height you need without getting the shock boots twisted and bound up. O-ring rebuildable, the shock has now become a standard part of the Ultra LX2e. A hardcoated aluminum front plate supports the steering posts from flexing under hard loads. The servo mounting area is intregrated with a sealed receiver box to keep your receiver protected from the elements. The servo is mounted vertically next to the receiver box for a form fitting layout. Helping the servo is a spring loaded servo saver system for those hard impacts that may damage a servo. This is yet another solid structure to further the Ultra buggy legacy.

The Ultra LX2 Electric comes with a lightweight 51 tooth Mod 1 composite spur gear for improved acceleration and speed. The thickness of the spur at the teeth is 6.75mm across which provides plenty of contact for the pinion to mesh with. It is attached to the o-ring sealed differential and a CNC motor mount to ensure that power and traction will not flex off the spur gear. Multiple motor combos can be used on the cnc mount, from 550 can up to 775 can motors and a maximum of an 18 tooth pinion can be used for those insane speed runs. The battery tray does double duty, holding your battery of choice and speed controller in place. Whether you're using a 2 cell or high voltage 4 cell, the three velcro straps keep your battery anchored to the car for those high flying jumps and the occasional accidental barrel roll. It's second duty is keeping the electronic speed control in a nice safe area clear of making contact with the ground and causing chassis slapping failure. The platform is plenty big to accommodate those sizey ESC's.

OFNA's popular Hi Downforce wing continues to work with the Ultra series, and offers high speed stability and balance through the air. This wing has been proven to be as tough as nails, with hard impacts and wing twisting being no match for this wing. OFNA's nylon has been hammer tested to ensure the wing will last. The 2.4GHz radio has all the needed functions to dial-in your buggy. Trim adjustments for steering and throttle are now included on this radio. Dual rate adjustment for steering is quick and convenient with inc/dec buttons on the grip of the radio. The biggest bonus on this radio is adjustments for both steering and throttle endpoints so you can safely keep servos from suffering burnout.

OFNA Ultra LX2E RTR 1/8 Electric Off Road Buggy
Great Buggy RTR. I bought it from another vendor everything seems solid. I bought it planning on upgrading things little by little in the long run, the motor and esc that comes with it is enough power for me at the moment to run. The thing I would recommend most is replacing the steering servo with something better just after one day at the track the thing died. Other than that everything seems to be running great.)

OFNA Ultra LX2E RTR 1/8 Electric Off Road Buggy
I bought this buggy from Tower Hobbies actually. Overall, this buggy is solid. I run 2 50c 2s lipos in this, and it is a beast. The steering servo stripped pretty easily, but I put a standard Futaba servo in it and it did ok. The motor is a little low in the Kv rating (1800), so top speed isn't that great. I upped my pinion to a 17t. But off the line it's a lightning bolt. The stock tires are a little cheesy, and made for hard packed dirt, so I switched mine out with Pro-Line Badlands. They hook up like no other. What I thought was odd, is that there was no diff fluid in the diffs, just some yellow grease. I put 50k, 5k, and 10k in them, which I believe is a great balance. Overall, this buggy is solid, quick, and has a lot of potential, especially at the price AMain and Tower are asking. Would definitely recommend to a first time buggy buyer. I rated 4 out of 5 because of the motor and it's low Kv rating.)

OFNA Ultra LX2E RTR 1/8 Electric Off Road Buggy
so I bought this buggy of amainhobbies and they said it wasn't available till next month but I got mine in less then 5 days which is awesome. I am very pleased with the super fast shipping and no damage when I received it. I haven't ran it yet but it looks super beefy in all the places it needs to be, huge tough shocks, the large a-arms, very nice tires, just an all around good buggy. I don't race or anything just mostly bashing so this is the perfect buggy for me im loving it so far I would definitely recommend this buggy to anyone who wants a good solid 1/8th scale buggy for a great price with using their discount codes as well)
