This is an optional Mugen 46T Front/Rear HTD (High Traction Differential) Differential Set. This high traction differential set contains 10T/20T differential gears which can improve traction. The HTD also makes it possible to ensure the same traction even when using thinner diff than normal, which improves the steering and bump resistance.

Mugen Seiki HTD Front/Rear Differential Set (46T)
The out-drives in these new diffs are no good ,weak metal ,rapid wear ,(2 gal max ) and then they snap axels .very disappointed.
Aparently mugen are aware of the problem ,bad batch no hardning ..
But how are they going to replace the crook ones ? Ie ,are the replacement outdrives in stock new improved ,or old stock no good ?
Ok ,update,amain will exept no responsibility for faulty mugen products, and sugested I contact mugen myself . Thats fine ,i guess the low prices at amain make up for it in the long run .
However, if purchased from an Australian distributor, the faulty parts would be replaced free of charge, as its against the law here to sell products that dont do what there supposed to do .
I just hope that the outdrives I just ordered aren't still the faulty ones as well.
