Simply slide the batteries into the slot, tighten the screw carefully until the tip contacts the battery. A red light on the side will light up, and shut off when the battery has reached .9V. At this point the discharge process is complete and the battery should be removed.

Muchmore AAA Battery Auto Cut Individual Discharger
Somewhat disappointed… does it discharge? Yes… although it states 1-4 cells with 4 led lights to indicate status. It states “Individual Discharging System”… But if I put one cell in… no light! I put two cells in, 2 lights! Put 3 cells in… only two lights??? I’m not sure that what is described in the product description is entirely accurate. There are a lot of dischargers out there for half the price of this one.
