MST CFX-WS High Performance Scale Rock Crawler Kit w/DC1 Body
I was so excited when I first saw this kit being introduced by MST. My only disappointment is that it took so long to get it over here in the U.S.. First I had to wait for it to get added to Amain's site and then had to wait after I back ordered it It went together well and is a very scale looking kit. The instructions were well done and no issues at all. Can't be happier.
Even though this is more of a scale trail truck, it's performance on the rocks is actually quite good. I'm running the stock tires as the scale size/appearance is perfect for the look of this model, but I did get a set up aftermarket metal steelies which added some lower weight. Since this tire size if rather unique and frankly I wanted to get this rig all done, I had to cut my own tire foams as the tires did need stiffer foams. Only other things I did was put in my own interior/drive and then sprayed the outside of the body with flat clear to take the shine down (I do this on a lot of RC cars...I'm not a fan of super glossy exteriors, especially on off road or rigs like this one that should look dull). Only thing I'd like for MST to do would be to perhaps offer an interior and also make the steering servo chassis mounted.
