The MST CFX-W Scale RTR Rock Crawler is a high performance scale truck designed to deliver incredible performance. With a steel gear, planetary type forward motor transmission, and 4 link suspension with aluminum links, the CFX-W is a scale rig that can go anywhere the other guys can. Plus, the included JP1 body offers the look of a custom build with included scale details that will impress the most demanding scale enthusiasts.

- MPA Portal Axle: The MPA portal axle design increases ground clearance and improves performance. The 4 gear design increases durability and helps to reduce torque twist through the chassis.

The dual slipper clutch design increases surface friction and provides a more precise holding power. The m0.6 pitch spur gear is suitable for high torque applications.

MST CFX-W Scale RTR Scale Rock Crawler w/JP1 Body (313mm Wheelbase)
I really like this rock crawler. The body is screaming beautiful.Very detailed and nicely appointed. However, out of the box there were some problems. All fixable though. First, the front wheels were toe out about 3 degrees. This was corrected by removing and grinding off about 1/16 inch from the stearing link tube (the lower 96mm tube) that connects the two wheels. Second, the stearing angle was only about +/- 20 degrees. This was corrected by an adjustment on the transmitter. For those who don't know how to do this: hold the stearing wheel on the transmitter to either extreme and at the same time click the "st" "+" or "-" adjustment button on the transmitter. Repeat the same with the stearing wheel to the opposite extreme. Doing this now gives you a stearing angle of about +/- 40 degrees and a turning diameter of about three foot. Not bad! Maybe this information should be included in the instruction manual. All in all, I would buy this rock crawler again.
