Motiv PRO 40 Amp LiPo Discharger (Junsi iCharger)
Bought this for Stock Nats 2018. So far im impressed with the discharger. Build is kind of light weight and there could be more refinements for my liking. For example add rubber covers for the feet and replace the distorted foam under the fan grate bolts. Just looks silly the foam is crushed and the edges flip up. However so far its worked great for my needs. Doesnt hurt that it looks cool! I give it 4 out of five only because it seems like for the price it could use a little more refinement.

Firstly, i want to say that I didnt buy from Amain, but through a hobby shop that had it in stock when i ordered. I like the way the product looks, but am disappointed with Motiv’s quality control. I must have gotten one built on a Friday near the end of the day. The one i received had way too much solder used on the banana plugs that it leaked inside the hollow area of the banana plug and allowed to solidify. Because of this the banana plug would not fit into the ports of the icharger. I could have sent it back, but then i would have had to pay for shipping and have to wait longer to use it. Instead, i opted to just cut off the damaged banana plugs and just solder a couple solid 4mm bullet plugs myself. I also added some heat shrink which the product was missing, and I also had to redo the heat shrink for the cable mesh sleeve that came loose. This probably automatically voids any warranty on it, but I shouldn’t have had to do that to begin with.

Performance-wise, when i tested the product to discharge at 40 amps, it seems to be slow to peak and it peaks at 38amps during the discharge cycle. I tested another type of discharger from rocket fuel labs) and it was quicker to peak at 40amps.

Overall, i feel like this item is overpriced.

Motiv PRO 40 Amp LiPo Discharger (Junsi iCharger)
Just the product needed to give my batteries the best edge.
Just note: remove the sticker on the top of the metal grill due to warm temps as the unit discharges.

Not worth the $100. Fan stopped spinning freely on first go round. Poorly made product

Motiv PRO 40 Amp LiPo Discharger (Junsi iCharger)
I purchased this to speed up the discharge/storage process. I have multiple packs and this discharger brings the voltage down to storage range in less than 10 mins (from fully charged)
Highly recommended it!

Terrible quality. Plastic fan is a pressure fit. After one cycle of my 2S battery the fan started to vibrate. When I lifted the unit to see the problem the fan fell off.
