MKS Servos HV6130 Coreless Metal Gear Digital Wing Servo (High Voltage)
Best servo for sailplane flaps! The 6130 is a stout servo that holds position without fail. The amount of torque that it brings gives you confidence that your model is safe when activating large flight surfaces. This is especially true on sailplanes with large flaps. These models tend to produce a large amount of force when pulling flaps and the servo needs to handle this. The 6130's do this without fail. I find that their larger output shaft gives them an advantage to other servos. While other servos may be able to technically handle the torque, the 6130's can live up to the repeated abuse without failing. Ever forget to retract the flaps when landing only to drag them on the ground? These servos will likely live to see another flight while others will strip a gear, or worse, break that output shaft.

These work great on F5J and F3J sailplanes when supplied with 2s power. I'm sure there are many other models that would benefit from their awesome construction. If there is a critical flight surface then MKS controlling it is the answer!
