MIP "Pucks" Bi-Metal Associated B5/B5M R-CVD Drive System
A very awesome upgrade, it's MIP... you know you're getting the best money can buy. These are well worth the money if you are thinking about buying them, super tough, lightweight, and all around a great product.

MIP "Pucks" Bi-Metal Associated B5/B5M R-CVD Drive System
This review is not based on performance...... First impression was great. Went together great, but noticed that the male out drive was not true, had a nice little wobble going, e-mailed mip with no response, so that was a let down, and Amain was out of them so I had to order off eBay, $18 with shipping. So over $90 later just not sure if this is that great. Still like it, hope it changes my mind on the track..... ***UPDATE*** have to say mip did contact me, told me to send the part in for replacement, and after using it I have to say I do love it.

MIP "Pucks" Bi-Metal Associated B5/B5M R-CVD Drive System
That comment about making sure you watch the pucks? VERY VERY VERY true. I was racing on carpet and all of a sudden my truck stopped. Picked it up and the CVA had snapped at the drive end and the diff outputs were completely shot almost to the point of being snapped as well.I had to use pliers to bend them back so that I could pull it through the bearing opening I looked at the (broken) ball end and noticed ONE of the pucks was almost worn though. So that little plastic piece blew up a $75 upgrade. Rather disappointing.

MIP "Pucks" Bi-Metal Associated B5/B5M R-CVD Drive System
I love this system and I immediately noticed an improvement. The only downside is the poor quality of the "pucks" they are made of a poor quality plastic so make sure that you keep an eye on them because I found that they don't last very long and need to be replaced frequently. If you fail to do this you will destroy the outdrive and will have to purchase another one. I am currently trying to make my own pucks out of carbon fiber and with a higher quality plastic to see if I can get more run time without having to worry about replacing them

MIP "Pucks" Bi-Metal Associated B5/B5M R-CVD Drive System
Makes buggy ramp up faster. Great form17.5. Saves about 26-28 grams of weight. I don't like the little screws on pucks and that you have to replace every 10 track days or they will get ruined. Maintenance is needed.
