Maclan MRR Short Stack Competition Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T)
Bought this motor new to run in the 17.5 blinky buggy class out here. We run on carpet but are limited to non-hardpin tires, hence no carpet rear tires.

From the start running this in a heavy vehicle (durango dex210F) the motor was incredibly powerful. I was shocked how much speed I could get from the motor out of the box using recommended timing (50 degrees). Motor performed well enough that another fast driver picked up the motor and enjoyed it as much as I do.

Maclan MRR Short Stack Competition Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T)
I got a chance to spend some time dialing in this motor for our local on-road track in Florida, in my 1/10th "Blinky" 17.5 ARC R11 Touring Car. The track has a 125 usable ft straight and 11 corners. The infield is medium technical but a couple of tricky corners where a lot of torque is needed. I finally ended on 57deg endbell timing, 3.45FDR, Standard spec "Torque" rotor that came in the motor. With ambient temps at 85deg, the motor was coming off at 175 degrees after 6 mins. At 94 deg ambient, it was coming off at 186deg. I will tell you, this motor is fast and does not fade. The sweet spot has a lot of torque, but also a lot of high-end speed. I had it timed at 58deg, but felt it needed a little more punch. The 1deg change was just what she needed!!! Great Motor, Great performance and lots of tuning options with different rotors available from RPM to Ultra-High Torque. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!!!!

Maclan MRR Short Stack Competition Sensored Brushless Motor (17.5T)
After using this motor for a couple of months now, I am extremely happy with it. This motor can keep up and pass the fastest motors on the track. Maclan did a great job with this one.

I typically gear this thing around 3.6 FDR and 58 timing on the can for onroad Stock Touring. Motor runs very cool and comes off around 140 degrees at these settings. Amazing motor for sure!
