The Maclan MR8.3 1/8th Scale Buggy Competition Brushless Motor is by far the best motor to pair with the Maclan Racing MMax 8 ESC. The MR8.3 has evolved with all Maclan has learned from their predecessors.

Maclan MR8.3 1/8th Scale Buggy Competition Brushless Motor (1900Kv)
My motor was dead on arrival....it finally started working after I messed with the sensor plug for a little while by pushing it in pretty hard. Drove it about a battery and a half and all the sudden lost all power to the motor. I open the motor up and found where the sensor wire plugs in the solder joints were not very good from the factory, good thing I am good at soldering so I was able to touch up the contact points by resolding them of course, and it's been fine since, overall the motor seems to have good smooth power and I'm very happy with it just wish I didn't have to fix a motor that I just bought, I am very experienced in RC field I'm not a noob and I didn't do anything wrong just so people are aware... I have several race kits and been doing this for over 20 years
