M2C Racing SCTE Adjustable Rear Toe Block System
This is the optional M2C Racing Adjustable Rear Toe Block System and is intended for use with the Losi TEN-SCTE short course truck. The M2C toe block system is machined from 7075 aluminum for maximum strength and anodized black for stealthy good looks. The hinge pins are made from 01 hardened tool steel and tapered to allow the hinge pins and arms to rotate together in the delrin bushing. This is a dual style system that allows the arms to rotate around the pin, and at the same time allows the pin to rotate in the bushing. This is beneficial because if you do bend a hinge pin, it will most likely bend in the smallest section of the pin. This area is not in the bushing or the arm, so it will still allow the arm to work properly without binding. The hinge pins are 4mm diameter so you will have to drill out the arm with the included drill bit.
The toe blocks are designed to use the M2C racing 3900 series delrin bushings, which have been proven to outlast the stock injection molded plastic that most manufacturers use. The rear toe block is set at the stock settings with the 1 dot - 0° insert. This provides you with a total adjustment range from 1° to 5° toe with fine adjustment of 1° either direction from the stock settings. This is where 95% of all system operate: The Anti-squat block also uses the same 3900 series inserts and allows you 1° to 5° of adjustment. Now to the good part, the rear toe block has been machined to allow you to lengthen the wheel base by 1/8" to suit different track conditions with the use of 1/16 x 4mm delrin spacers! This will allow you to run the stock settings or 1/8 inch longer simply by moving the bushings. Caution: this may not be a legal length at ROAR races with the arms moved back.
NOTE: The hinge pins are 4mm diameter so you will have to drill out the arm with the supplied drill.
