M2C Kyosho Inferno 3-Piece Quick Change Motor Mount Set

This is an optional M2C Racing Kyosho Inferno 3-Piece Quick Change Motor Mount Set. This engine mount system is compatible with the Inferno MP9 and STRR models. Machined from 7075  billet aluminum and anodized black, the M2C 3-Piece quick change mount allows you to remove the engine from the chassis by removing the 4 screws that secure the top blocks to the plate. This can be done easily with a standard 2.5mm hex wrench. As an additional security measure, after you have set the gear mesh you can snug down the four 3x6mm pointed set screws for added insurance that the motor will not move.

M2C designed this mount to provide more motor support, helping to eliminate chassis flex in the motor area, preventing the clutch bell from striking the chassis. Additionally, this mount is compatible with Picco/REDS motors. MP9 TKI3 and STRR EVO owners can combine this mount with the extended life chassis, for the ultimate combination of lifespan, strength and ease of use (MP9 TKI3 - M2C2605 / STRR EVO - M2C2670). Package includes all the parts and hardware required for installation.

NOTE:

• The inner set screws may not be accessible due to the position of the drive shaft on some models, but the 2 outside screws should give you enough bite to prevent the motor from moving.
• The inside rear hole on the top block has been counter bored to clear the driveshaft in buggy applications. This will not affect the mount if used on a truggy.
