This is an optional M2C Mugen MBX8 Gas Truggy Chassis, made using 1/8 inch (3.25mm) thick 7075 aircraft grade materials and clear anodized. M2C has tested and tweaked this chassis design to provide the racers a top notch chassis that will perform very well on all surfaces. This model has been made for the tracks with a high wear characteristics such as ones found in western states, up north and Canada. Replace the steel skid plate to achieve a much longer chassis life.

M2C Mugen MBX8 Gas Truggy Chassis
Purchased this chassis as a spare/replacement chassis a bit back. Not a good experience with this chassis or the first one from the get-go. A couple of the side-guard holes were drilled off-center and only had partial threading. By partial threading I mean that only half of the hole had thread and the remaining half was wallered out a bit. Picture an oblong moon. I was able to correct this problem by using M3.5 screws from Lunsford which were 3.5 capped screws and the head had to be ground down. Tried contacting M2C with null results. It's a shame because I loved their zero rebound caps and PB bushings but I'll never purchase another M2C product again.
