This is an optional M2C Racing MBX7 Ackerman Bar. With the super quick reaction of the MBX7, slowing down the steering response can be beneficial for the average driver and improves the handling of the car in corners. Many MBX7 drivers have found that they can calm down the steering by turning the stock ackerman plate around 180°. So M2C has developed a machined 7075 aluminum ackerman bar that includes not only the stock steering link hole locations, but also includes the reverse position steering link holes, both combined into 1 ackerman plate, allowing quick setup changes to the car.

Additionally, M2C also addressed the issue of the stock 3mm screw hitting the arm. M2C lowered the surface by 1mm. Testing has shown that you can use up to 104mm droop with no interference of the arm at any position of the screw hole. If you wish to run more than 104mm droop then you can use a standard button head screw in place of the Mugen stock screw, but the screw may hit the arm at max droop and full steering lock. If this condition occurs, you may have to dial down the EPA a tick or two.
