Lynx Heli has designed a single piece Main Blade Grip Pitch Arm for the Mikado Logo 700 helicopter. By moving to a single piece system, flight performance and precision is increased due to removing the two piece design and eliminating the original through-bolt design from the component. Under extreme 3D load, the bolt could bend at different levels for each blade, causing brief moments of blades that are out of track.
The single piece pitch arm is not only great for in flight tracking, but in the event of a tip over, or hard crash, you can quickly see if the arm has bent or not. With the standard through bolt design that Mikado utilized, the screw or cone often times would bend in a crash but not be immediately apparent until the next test flight,
