The Lynx Heavy Duty Boom Support Assembly is an upgrade for any helicopter which utilizes parallel boom support mounting ends, and utilize a 4mm mounting screw. The Boom Supports are a critical component on all helicopters which are stressed extremely hard during all aspects of flight. Through many revisions of construction types, and materials used, Lynx's final solution is a combination of high quality materials, and improved mechanical attachment to the boom support ends.
6mm Diameter "High Pressure" Carbon Rod is paired with 7075 Aluminium Boom Support Ends which are expoxied onto the Carbon Fiber Rods, and clamped to the rods using a 2.5mm cap head screw.
Finally, the design was ran through FEA analysis to ensure that maximum performance was acheived, with the lowest amount of weight.
