The Lynx Heli EOX-1611 5500kV Brushless Motor was developed by Lynx, to be a perfect fit for the Oxy Heli Oxy 2 helicopter.

The EOX-1611 features parallel 0.5mm diameter wire, hand wound for the highest efficiency, power, and lowest operational temperatures possible. Additionally, the high temperature rated Neodymium magnets when paired with high quality materials found only in the EOX series of motors, offers a complete all in one package of performance, and price. Designed around 3s LiPo, the EOX-1611 will be an incredible performer.

Additionally, the EOX-1611 motor can be used with 4s LiPo, but it is mandatory to use a headspeed governor management in order to prevent damage to the motor.

Lynx Heli EOX 1611 Brushless Motor (5500kV)
Lasted only 269 flights.

Now every time I fly, Talon-25 is giving me triple red LED code that stands for motor anomaly.

The warmer the motor gets - the shorter the time before it cuts out.
Ikon2 logs show no problems. Wiring is all good. Drive train is OCD fine tuned and smooth. Good mesh. ESC settings per Lynx specs.

All I do is conservative sport flying with a good decision making at 4500 RPM with my Oxy2.

At $50 this motor is extremely overpriced. Looks pretty trashy when you open the box and see motor can lettering all smeared up to the point where it's unreadable.
