This is an optional Lynx Heli Ultra Dampener Set. Lynx Heli has discovered that the mCPX-BL employs a particular flybarless head design that tends to perform better if special semi-rigid dampeners are used. By combining their engineering and helicopter experience they have designed special dampeners that hold the spindle and reduce play to emphasize the semi-rigid head flight characteristics. These dampeners will increase the response and the fly precision in the mCPX-BL while using the standard plastic head or any other head option parts.

The Lynx dampeners are composed of two pieces - an O-ring to maintain the necessary preload (to remove side by side play) and a bushing in techno-polymer auto-lube to assure maximum load and friction resistance. These dampeners give your mCPX-BL an incredibly precise feel in the air. The difference is visible, particularly in fast forward flight and with quick pitch changes. Lynx tests show that mCPX-BL dampeners are advised when high head speed is requested (100% throttle curve in STD. heli configuration).

Features:

  • Increased head rigidity give precise and crispy fly feeling with standard plastic head or with any brand head upgrades parts.
  • Quick move response
  • Incredible spam life resistance.
  • No metal shims required thanks innovative Lynx bushing shape design
  • Direct replacement for your MCPX-BL heli.

Specifications:
O-Ring Material:
EPDM Rubber Compound (Elastomer)
Bushing Material: Techno-Polymer base POM.

Includes:

  • (4) Ultra Dampeners – Bushing
  • (4) O-Ring Elastomer

TIPS: Before installing the Lynx dampeners, disassemble the main grip and remove the standard dampeners and standard metal shims. Don’t lubricate the O-Ring or any other parts. The bushings have a special design shape so you don’t need to worry about the direction they are installed. Just be sure that the O-Ring faces the main hub and the bushing faces the main grip.
