This is the Lynx Heli Blade 130 X DS-883-HV Tail Servo. Lynx now offers a dedicated High Voltage tail servo for your 130 X! The Lynx DS-883-HV servo was designed to work with a standard FBL system or with a 3-in-1 motherboard when an external BEC is used. The HV edition servo must be powered by an external BEC with a minimum 4.8 to maximum 6.5 Volts. For performance and security reasons, Lynx does not recommend that you power the HV servo with the stock 3-in-1 integrated BEC. The servo will not work properly and will damage the 3in1 mother board.

TIPS AND INFORMATION FOR THE BEST PERFORMANCE:
  • The HV edition must be powered by an external BEC with minimum 4.8V to maximum 6.5V.
  • For performance a security reason Lynx recommends that you DO NOT power the HV servo with standard 3-in-1 integrated BEC. Servo will not work properly and will damage the 3-in-1 mother board.
  • Lynx testing has shown that the best servo arm length is between 5.5 to 6.5mm.
  • Start with 6.5mm and set the servo travel the same as the linear servo, do not increase that travel.
  • Start with -5  Tail Gyro setting and test your Heli tail.
  • During your test, adjust the tail gain to suit your needs and Heli setting. If with all full negative Tail Gyro setting you still have tail wag, adjust the servo arm length to 6 or 5.5mm and restart the test.
  • Unfortunately is almost impossible for Lynx to provide the best standard value because there are too many factors that can influence the gain setting.
