This is an optional Lynx Heli 112 Tooth Mod 1 HD Helical Main Gear, and is intended for use with the Align T-REX 700E helicopter. This can also be used with the T-Rex 550 V2 and 600E Pro, but requires the Lynx 550/600 HD main gear case (LYX0269). Lynx Heli Innovations has redefined the standard T-Rex 700E slant tooth main gear. A slant tooth or "helical cut" gear must be stiff enough to avoid bending or distortion under load. After intensive testing, and with the help of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software, Lynx engineers have developed an innovative design with unique crossing radius dimensions to achieve incredible stiffness at the lightest weight possible.

Lynx manufactures this gear on highly accurate CNC machines to assure exacting tolerances and a precision fit. A tecnopolymer material was chosen after thorough testing due to the minimal wear characteristics that were proven flight after flight. The Lynx slant tooth main gear also features a 1mm increase in gear thickness to 10mm compared to the stock 9mm thick part in order to increase tooth contact area and increase the maximum load capabilities by 20% compared to the standard gear.

This T Rex 700E HD slant tooth main gear is 100% compatible (correct gear mesh) when used on the T-Rex 700E V1 and V2. It is also compatible with the T-Rex 550 V2 and 600E Pro, but requires the Lynx 550/600 HD main gear case (LYX0269) in order to fit.

Tips for top performance:

While this gear was tested with the standard aluminum Align pinions, Lynx recommends the use of Lynx Heli HD steel slant tooth pinions to achieve maximum performance and wear resistance possible, flight after flight.
