- Grade 5 Titanium is roughly a 45% weight savings over steel.
- Always and only domestic Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) Titanium
- Grade 5 fatigue strength is 530-630 (MPa). Grade 2 is 250.
- Grade 5 shear strength is 600-710 (MPa). Grade 2 is 270.
- Grade 5 tensile strength is 1000 to 1190. Grade 2 is 420.
- Grade 5 strength to weight is 50-56. Grade 2 is 28.
- Nano accurate broached head provides a very accurate tool engagement/fitment with the head of the ball stud making for worry-free threading and unthreading. Crafted in-house allowing Lunsford to give you ulta-consistency from ball stud to ball stud during the CNC process.

Wow i did purchased last Month and installed today and i put it in today but doesn't fit it's too big when i measured it's 5.5 not 4.8 label outside the plastic bag is 4.8MM please change to 5.5

Lunsford TLR 22X-4 4.8mm Titanium Ball Stud Kit
Ball studs were too big to put ball cups on. I measured them with my caliper and the width of the ball was 5.43mm and the stock ball width was 4.75mm. I tried to fit them on but they wouldn’t move as freely as the stock balls if at all, also I had to replace the cups I used on the Lunsford balls because it stretched them out and wouldn’t be tight on the stock balls when I tried to re-use. I wish I could upload photos to show... Welp, there goes $40...

Lunsford TLR 22X-4 4.8mm Titanium Ball Stud Kit
As with every Lunsford product I've received, these ball studs are flawless. The machining is perfect, as always, and the ball diameters are all in the 4.77-4.79mm range, exactly where they should be. Not sure how some previous customers got a misidentified batch, but I'm sure AMain/Lunsford would have made things right for them.
