Lunsford Punisher Kyosho MP9 TKI4 Turnbuckle Kit (7)
Absolutely the best turnbuckles I've ever installed on any Kyosho 1/8th scale nitro buggy I've owned, going all the way back to the MP7.5. These Lunsford turnbuckles are so extremely well constructed and have such precise threads that it just makes them such a joy to use and adjust in one's buggy. I'm been using them in my TII2, TKI3 and soon will be using them in my TKI4 nitro buggy. Not the same actual turnbuckles though - well, I sold my TKI2 and bought a new TKI3 kit but as for the TKI4, I'm just going to be upgrading the various parts from my current TKI3 until the car is ii to TKI4 specs. But the turnbuckles are now at least 2 years old, and I just recently rebuilt all my upper arms and steering links and I have to say, the turnbuckles themselves seem identical to the day I first opened the package and installed them from new.

Only thing I wish is that Lunsford would include a suitable steel turnbuckle wrench with their Ti turnbuckle kits. Even an alloy wrench would be appreciated but they seem to get worn out by the hart titanium quite quickly. And this is even taking into account the fact that I always grease my turnbuckles before installing them into the plastic upper arms and steering links. I believe this is a must as it makes it so much easier to adjust the camber and toe and even makes an alloy turnbuckle wrench last longer. For the past 18 months though, I've been using a T-Works 5mm spring steel turnbuckle wrench and have found this wrench to last longer than any other brand I've used in the past 7-8 years. I'll definitely be grabbing another T-Works spring steel turnbuckle wrench if this one ever becomes worn out or starts slipping. Honestly, it is SO MUCH better than the Lunsford alloy wrench or large size Punisher wrench. It fits better, has a better shape, last heaps longer and even looks better than the Lunsford wrench. And wow, it lasts at least 2-3 times as long as the Lunsford wrenches, and still shows absolutely zero signs of any wear and tear. Cant recommend the T-Works 5mm turnbuckle wrench or Lunsford Ti turnbuckles highly enough!!

Without a doubt, 10/10 for me and my use. And the way I see it, if they're good enough for Cody King to use to win a World Championship and Jared Tebo usss them to win just about everything else around, then these Lunsford Ti turnbuckles are surely more than good enough for us mere mortals.

Do yourself a favour and buy them immediately! I can't see any downside to using them on any 1/8th scale nitro buggy or ANY rc car, on- or off-road, electric or nitro. They rock!!
