This is the optional replacement Titanium hinge pin kit for the Team Associated RC8 off road buggy from Lunsford Racing.

Lunsford Titanium Hinge Pins are designed for maximum strength and minimum weight. These hinge pins are a great way to shed weight from your buggy, while at the same time increasing the strength to avoid breakages. All Lunsford titanium hinge pins are machined from precision ground 6AL/4V titanium stock and polished to a fine finish. Stock racers stand to gain the most performance from weight reduction. It’s just one more way to add a racing edge to your favorite car or truck.

Lunsford Associated RC8/RC8T/SC8 Titanium Hinge Pin Kit
Bought the complete set of pins and have bent every rear out pin in the set. Went back to stock pins and I've had no issues. I was using them in two RC8Ts with factory aluminum hub carriers and still bent them. The last one I had even snapped at the spacer. I've heard the same thing about going to 4mm.

I agree with Andrew, the rear outers do bend easily compared to stock. I had to cut both of my rear a arms to remove the pins from my factory team alum. rear hubs. I haven't had any problems with any of the pins.

The outer hinge pins bend too easily. Use the stock steel outer pins, and buy some 4mm/.156" 6al-4v Ti rod and make your own inner hinge pins. Cost less and you'll have cheap spares.

Lunsford Associated RC8/RC8T/SC8 Titanium Hinge Pin Kit
I have to disagree with you Andy. I got a set of these from Tammie's hobbies at cost and they were the best hinge pins that I have ever used. I consider myself one of the best racers on the west coast and all of my equipment takes some abuse. These have held up to some serious crashes while I keep breaking rear hub carriers. Luckily there are people at the track that have parts if I need them.
