LRP X12L Short Course Sensored Brushless 550 Motor (4.5T)
Bought this motor to install in my SC10 4x4. Debated between this motor and the Tekin SC 4x4 motor. After receiving the motor and installing it, the motor would cog forward then go in reverse. Suspected the sensor wire, I had was bad, since LRP does not give you one with the motor. Changed out sensor wire with two additional sensor wires I had and it did the same thing. Controlling the motor with a Team Orion Race Spec ESC made by KO Propo, basically a VFS-1 ESC. Changed profiles in ESC, no good. Called Associated and they blamed my ESC, stating they only control these motors with TC-Specs. Ended up sending back to A Main for a replacement, the customer service was satisfactory as always. Was forced to go to local hobby shop to see what they had, since I didnt want to wait almost two weeks to receive replacement. Bought a Trinity 4x4 6.5 T motor. Not my choice, but it has worked really good so far. Worked from the beginning, came with a sensor wire, easy to install in the SC10 4x4, just had to dremel the chassis slightly to make the sensor wire have more clearance. Very disapointed in this LRP product. I have had great success with other LRP products. Dont recommend unless you are using a LRP ESC, at leat Associated Customer Support wont give you the excuse that it is your ESC. For what it is worth.

LRP X12L Short Course Sensored Brushless 550 Motor (4.5T)
Installed in Jammin SCRT 4x4 with LRP SXX tc spec v2 on 2s with stock 13t pinion. truck is incredibly fast and really smooth. Both esc and motor run cool.( 4 flashes after 7 min main ). So far use 2000mah for 5 min qualifier with a couple practice laps. first 7 min main was 3000mah

LRP X12L Short Course Sensored Brushless 550 Motor (4.5T)
I use this motor on my formula offroad car ... here is possible to see my car with this motor: youtube.com/nostreet4me

This video is short but can give an idea ... my foff is not really a light car but with this motor is a lightning, can climb a sand hill without any kind of problem, the couple is everytime really high and also the top speed is really interessant for this kind of car.

Really really happy, i use this with a mamba max pro.
