NOW IT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL!
update: After rubuilding most of the electronic system. I got it to work then I realized it was taking on water. Terrible puchase.
Positives:
- Fun, quick, maneuverable little boat that comes ready to run.
Negatives:
- Long charge time, short run time, boat takes on water, and boat's steering is very inconsistent between right and left turns. Frustrating to drive.
It's fun how maneuverable the boat is, which makes it usable in small creeks and streams. It also comes totally ready to run, even including AAA batteries for the remote. The drawbacks, I noticed every time I drove it aggressively it would take on water, which seemed to get worse with time. The main issue I have with the boat is the battery pack takes 8 hours to charge and is dead within about 5-6 min of all out run time. My second gripe is with the handling of the boat, it seems to turn very inconsistently in both directions. It's small, quick, and maneuverable but that is it's Achilles heel. I could run the boat full speed going straight, one direction of the remote makes nice big sweeping turns, the other direction makes the boat flip a 180 and take on water. It's very frustrating to drive because of how touchy the steering controls are.
