Losi LST XXL2-E RTR Brushless Monster Truck
This is my 3rd R/C I've owned and 1st 8th scale. Purchased at dhs (distant hobby shop) and man am I in love with this truck. Running only on 4s but for me it's plenty powerful. Once this truck is up and moving, the only sound I hear are the ginormous tire tearing into the ground. Honestly, I can not even imagine dropping a 6s lipo in this truck. It would be completely out of control. Someday.....

Only negatives so far were the wheels/tires came quite out of balance. Losi's parent company sent me 4 brand new tires, wheels, and hubs. Quite happy about that. Lastly, I was tightening the slipper nut this morning and broke the end of the assembly rod. My fault. Ordered the fixes from Amain so I should be back up and running soon.

If you're on the fence (as I was) about purchasing this beast, just buy it. I've had zero issues w/ diffs, screws backing out, etc.. Completely satisfied and know that this truck will last for years to come. A+ Losi.

Losi LST XXL2-E RTR Brushless Monster Truck
Ordered this unit in Russia, in the Moscow region. On 5s the battery accelerates 72 km per hour. What broke in 3 weeks, cracked millibar, from the constant getting up on its hind legs, staffing the clutch was burnt for 3 days due to bad rear nuts that it was fixed. The case clips on the back is also cracked. Today at 6 cupping the battery just chewed up the spoor into dust, due to the high torque. Even cracked the line between the serfs, which synchronizes them. By itself, the device is sturdy, has survived many drops and reversals. I'm happy at 100!

Losi LST XXL2-E RTR Brushless Monster Truck
Got this last week. Man this thing is crazy fast. Turns almost as good as a 1/10th scale stadium truck. Well done Losi. Got to try this thing out you will not be disappointed. I am running a 4S in it and it will pull all day long. Good thing for the wheelie bar.

Losi LST XXL2-E RTR Brushless Monster Truck
Part #2
I installed the Team Assiciated Thrust Bearing and follows my techs advice. I cranked the slipper clutch adjustment all the way down and backed it off 1/8 of a turn, and it seemed a little "grabby" so I backed it out maybe another 1/8 for a total of a 1/4 turn. And all seems fine. It runs great and I now have 8 packs through it. No breaks, no issues and I DID send it 20ft into the air and stuck the landings, and it's fine! Go get one,you won't be sorry!

Losi LST XXL2-E RTR Brushless Monster Truck
I wrote a poor review on the XXL2 gas LST simply because of the failed .31 attempt. Now it's time for Losi to get their points back. Best truck ever! Great build, awesome engineering, tough as nails and it doesn't take no for an answer. I've had comparable electric monsters like the Savage Flux XL but they don't meet the quality and aggressive stance this truck exhibits. Perfect continuation of the (mostly) flawless history the LST line-up has had.

Losi LST XXL2-E RTR Brushless Monster Truck
I am a experimented driver more than 30 year on RC car and truck and this one are very tuff truck, this big shock absorbed all bump easily, turn like a small truck no need of change servos but I have changed the ESC for a Hobbywing EZRUN MAX8 with 7.2 volt BEC VS 5.5 volt on stock ESC, this is a RTR : that say you did put a lock-tite on center drive shaft grub screw, lock this spring on clutch and unscrew counter clock wise 1/8 of a turn, the differential case are the HD with metal insert but the diff cup are not the HD version just change that and your good to go. After more than 20 run on 6S lipo the truck run like a new without breakage.
