Losi DBXL-E 2.0 Aluminum Front Top Plate (Black)

I purchased the Losi aluminum front support brace and have had it installed for a bit, and it fit perfectly, as did the rear ones. I liked the look so much I figured I’d get an upper plate to make them all match. First I ordered the wrong one, (the 1.0 is different than the 2.0), that was 100% my fault, as I didn’t realize that it didn’t say 2.0. And since I scratched it, returning it wasn’t in the cards. $45 wasted, lesson learned. So I then ordered the correct one. It came in today, and it’s really beautiful… then I tried to install it. The hole for the front brace protrusion wasn’t machined properly. It was too shallow. I got out the caliper and measured it. 2.4mm too shallow. Rather than return it and wait for a third time, I drove back to work and machined the hole to proper spec. It now fits perfectly, but I don’t think a person should have to machine a part that should come ready to install. I am lucky enough to have access to a machine shop. Between this and finding that my $1200 DBXLE came without a drop of loctite on any of the screws, Losi really, really needs to work on their quality control.
