This is the Losi Center SmartDiff for the 8IGHT/8IGHT 2.0 Off Road Buggy! Losi engineers have designed a patent pending differential that knows exactly how to respond to track conditions and throttle input. Losi's innovative custom SmartDiff design adjusts the amount of lock based on throttle position for optimum power transfer into and out of corners. The results are improved maneuverability, increased off-power steering and outstanding acceleration.
The SmartDiff makes an easy, drop-in hop-up for every 8IGHT Buggy vehicle. The SmartDiff replaces the stock center diff on the 8IGHT without any additional modification required. Losi’s SmartDiff is fully assembled and ready for immediate installation.

You'll accelerate way faster out of & into the corners with this hop-up , a must for serious racers . It also gives you that boost of traction when accelerating up those huge jumps , enough that you can feel the difference . TANKGYRL

It's very smart parts!
Ease to drive on over the gap,on cross tite corner.
I feel rear tire is more grip than normal diff but powerslide feel so fine.
I adjust F/R diff oil more hard than normal set for #100.

this diff is the bad mother. this thing rocks. if you race you need this. if you just tool around, you dont need this. personally i love it. start with the center only. customizable to your racing setup. if you got the cash buy this with the quick change losi center diff mount.,

for some reason i lost a rear drive shaft and looks like parts are somewhere i cant find. 3 wheel drive isnt fun
