Losi 8IGHT 2.0 1/8 4WD RTR Buggy (w/DX3S Radio, Telemetry Installed & Starter Bo
Thank You so much A Main!!! I just took delivery of my first Losi 8ight a week ago, I haven't broken it in yet, but what a true hot rod this buggy is. Everything appears to be solid. I was impressed with the extra high torque digital servo's it came with like on the 810. The radio definitely has alot of bling. After I break in the engine, I'm goin to install an RE11 pipe & a turbo head conversion kit from Losi as a baseline. What a great purchase!!!!

In response to Jesus Renato Yulo,

If you are thinking about buying this car, don't listen to him! 1 angry customer speaks 100x louder than a happy customer, and the chance of you getting a dud or being like Jesus Renato Yulo (where everything is user error) is 1/100 bascially. It's a great car.

Losi 8IGHT 2.0 1/8 4WD RTR Buggy (w/DX3S Radio, Telemetry Installed & Starter Bo
I have been into rc racing for 3 years now and Losi I think is the best yet!I bought this product and I must say that I am very pleased with it.The starter box is not necessarily the best of quality but it does get the job done.Of course the Spectrum radio is topnotch. The speed odometer on my buggy sometimes does not work which I believe it is do to the sensor that is attached to the radio tray, gets dirty.Once you clean the sensor it works fine. The servos are also great and get the job done for being one of JRs lower end servos.I am also impressed with the .21 motor that comes with this kit.Plenty of bottom punch and top end speed also. The blue chasis is a nice touch but I plan on buying the race roller chasis for this buggy which will reduce the weight a little and is of a gun metal finish.I strongly recommend this buggy for anyone that wants to get into 1/8 offroad racing.

Losi 8IGHT 2.0 1/8 4WD RTR Buggy (w/DX3S Radio, Telemetry Installed & Starter Bo
This is the best price for what you get buggy. I agree with the explanations given by other reviewers. I have been through 3 races with the stock servos and not a problem yet. Also, the motor does have a bit of pinch, more then I am used to for my RB but about on par with Nova. I am very happy, the telemetry is mainly cool because of the temp and the fact that I did not have to set it up. The only issue I have is that it is near impossible to install the transponder without cutting out some of the radio box with all the telemetry gear hooked up.

That flywheel problem you are experiencing is due to the engine being very tight when new. If you loosen the glow plug a tad and preheat the engine with a heat gun to around 200 degrees the engine will turn over very easy. All these nitro engines are very tight at TDC when new. That's why they have to "break in". Once you get a few tanks through the engine it will gradually start easier and easier. I always preheat my engines until around the 1/2 gallon mark. -//- I think Losi just took rtr's to a whole new level with this setup!

This is THE rtr 1/8 buggy to own for 2009.

A++++++++ to Losi

Losi 8IGHT 2.0 1/8 4WD RTR Buggy (w/DX3S Radio, Telemetry Installed & Starter Bo
Hi Guys

Sorry to say that I am very disappointed with this car.
The motor's flywheel grove is too narrow. My starter's box flywheel, is getting worn out fast. The motor gets stuck and I have to open the plug and place some oil into the cylinder.
I have HPI cars and they are perfect.
I see on forums that the motor's flywheel grove on the chassis, has to be sharpened
to help the starter's box flywheel get into it.
I have bought an RTR so everything will be Ready To Run.
Losi please make a better option for the flywheel.

Bye,

David

Yo whats up, i just got my eight 2.0 today i love it. I love the spektrum radio. The jr servos are very responsive. The engine is great .I clocked it at 55 mphs. It took a Little tuning though. I would recomend the eight 2.0 to anyone beginners, novice and so on. This buggy is definetly a 10 0ut a 10.

This is an awsome rtr. I have no problem running with the kits at our local track. The motor has lots of power and tunes very well. The chassis is what i expected from an 8ight. It is very durable, I have not broken anything in 3 race days while learning have to drive a, 1/8 scale. Very good package all together.
