Losi 22S SCT 1/10 RTR 2WD Brushed Short Course Truck (Kicker)
Bought two of these losi’s, one for my 8 year old and the other for my 6 year old. First real RC car for each, and I am super impressed with their drivability and durability. The transmitter switch that toggles between 50, 75 and 100% speed is a great feature. In the last month, they’ve taken their fair share of crashes and held up, no broken parts. And for me, an experienced RC guy, they are fun to drive, handle well and have plenty of speed. Great price point, highly recommend.

Losi 22S SCT 1/10 RTR 2WD Brushed Short Course Truck (Kicker)
Great SCT for the price. Fast enough on 2S for bashing around the back yard or at the park. I have had this truck for about 5 months now and it has gone through hell but is still holding up well. I would recommend this truck if you are getting into the hobby or wanting something more affordable to upgrade at a later date.

Losi 22S SCT 1/10 RTR 2WD Brushed Short Course Truck (Kicker)
After inspection and driving, this truck belongs on a WallyWord shelf. Plastics are flimsy and cheap quality. The body doesn’t even clear the tires at full bump which means endless rubbing just going straight over any bump(this body won’t last long before it’s ripped off driving mild)
I could go on about a poorly engineered chassis and cheap feeling parts all over.
The controller is supposed to be spektrum but it doesn’t even have a branding on it. Your paying for the “brand name” electronics with a toy grade car.
I cannot recommend this, even if you’re just starting into the hobby. Keep looking.

Losi 22S SCT 1/10 RTR 2WD Brushed Short Course Truck (Kicker)
To be honest this truck looks great and out of the box is fun. Ditching the bottom loading battery door for a more traditional strap system would be better. First it would allow for larger batteries ( try finding a 3s lipo to fit) and second it prevents the top of the body from getting scratched. This truck is also super fragile. It shakes and breaks if you look at it wrong. 5mph collisions result in the shock caps separating and oil everywhere. There’s definitely room for improvement. Again, a good looking truck but so far the quality hasn’t been what I expected from Losi.

Losi 22S SCT 1/10 RTR 2WD Brushed Short Course Truck (Kicker)
This truck is great for getting into the hobby. It not supper fast, but it definitely moves, the steering servo is a little slow but I've gotten 4 other cars since and all of them have same or worse stock servos. As for the rest of the truck I mo rd up quickly, but my 5 year old has gotten the hell out of this truck 2 to 3 times a week ussally 2 to 3 runs each on 2s batteries good for about 20 to 25 mins, back to back. After 5 months the truck finally died although it was running at a all day event and went through 6 batteries that day, all and all I'd say this thing is a tank, and I may just upgrade it and put it back in my lineup and give it a break from constant wreaks and donuts. Minus the body damage which even that has exceeded expectations, a dead esc or motor after all that abuse over the last 5 months is nothing.

To note for those just beginning this thing has a full metal gear box, the only non metal gear is the spur gear, so if you buy this truck when it's time to upgrade the motor for more power odds are you wont have a problem, and if you're wanting to make the drive train bulletproof, theres a metal spur gear option in the mid 30 buck range. My only complaint so far is losi dosen't make aftermarket upgrades as much as other models. Last pit fall is the bottom loading battery tray, nice thought horrible design for off road truck. Again though great begainer truck. Definitely worth a look.

Losi 22S SCT 1/10 RTR 2WD Brushed Short Course Truck (Kicker)
$200 truck ruined by some bean counter deciding a 12$ servo is acceptable. Unacceptable handling when the whole point of the truck is to get people into racing.
