Kyosho MP9 TKI4 1/8th Off Road Dish Wheels are available in a variety of colors. But these wheels offer more than just color options. They are lighter than before, and have a textured gluing surface that provides a more secure bond between the wheel and tire. Plus, they are lighter than the previous Kyosho wheel to reduce rotating mass and improve acceleration.

Color Options:

  • KYOIFH006KG: Green
  • KYOIFH006KO: Orange
  • KYOIFH006KR: Red
  • KYOIFH006KY: Yellow

These wheels outlast my tires even with my frequent crashes! Balance has been acceptable enough out of the package to not require modifications (not perfect but very close when checked on Dubro balancing equipment) and I have had zero durability issues compared to other colors of the same wheel.

I absolutely LOVE the color, and the price, but these wheels are a bit unbalanced right out of the bag. Some are worse than others. Also, these wheels are prone to cracking from normal track use.

UPDATE (11/4/22): I balance my wheels when I mount new tires, so the balancing issue, OK fine, it's not great but not terrible. I can work around it. I mount tires using the Phin Design jig; clean and consistent gluing and mounting every time. Despite the efforts, these wheels crack very easily on my MP10e. Maybe it's the track conditions, which has a lot of stony loam/dust (with some big chunks) and very hard pack. IDK, but for example, I ran one battery the other night at the track, on a brand new set of these wheels and M4 Blockades, and one of the rear wheels already has a 1/8" crack on the inside edge.
