This is a Kyosho MB-010VE 2.0 Mini-Z Buggy Inferno MP9 TKI Chassis Set. With each parameter setting, you can create a MINI-Z Buggy that fits your driving style perfectly. Kyosho MB-010VE 2.0 Mini-Z Buggy Inferno MP9 TKI Chassis Set
As a response to the review with complaints about the radio compatibility, I have a FlySky Noble NB4 and the RM005 module that allows the NB4 to work with the built in receiver. I am using it that way now and it works great with 1 caveat. To get it out of “training mode” to get decent power you at least need access to a KT-531P in order to change the mode. Once that’s done you can rebind it to the NB4 and never need the KT-531P again unless you want to put it back in training mode.
Moving on, I get laughed at for spending this much on a car that runs on AAA’s, but don’t get it confused with those $50 pocket size cars. This is built with precision AWD with front and rear diffs, oil filed shocks and most importantly, a 8500kv brushless motor. the only other real player in the 1/24 scale buggy market is Carisma, which makes an externality similar model with the same basic features, but running on a small 2s lipo instead. It’s also cheaper and comes with a radio, but they don’t have anywhere near the aftermarket parts available for the Mini-z buggy’s. The only minor complaint I have aside from training mode issue above, is the cheap looking red plastic shocks. They come with oil, but cheapen the overall ascetic when just keeping them black would have been better imo. Maybe that was part of their plan as it convinced me to buy the Kyosho aluminum shock set for it, lol. I think on the higher-end model that Kyosho could spring for the aluminum shocks like Losi did with the Mini-B Pro Roller. If you plan to keep it totally stock, you’re probably better off saving $ and getting the Carisma GT24b that includes the radio and battery for less this this alone. It’s pretty close in performance, but this is definitely the he one to get if price is no object.

The buggy is one of the coolest mini z platforms, the brushless is fast and fun. Only wish kyosho would make a evo version to use better radios.
