King Headz Traxxas Slash 4x4 Aluminum Motor Mount w/Bearing

Great product, this should be a must have. 110% better than the stock part and works great.

This should be one of the first upgrades done to any slash 4x4. I had countless problems with the stock unit and even replaced it twice before I learned about this piece. Construction is solid and it does the job perfectly.

Simply awesome piece. The original mount in my Slash 4x4 crapped out after about a week or so, and took the slipper adapter with it. I threw this bad boy in, along with the King Headz adapter, put a Revo slipper behind it all and BAM! A whole new level of durability.

I have waited a few weeks to write this review so that I had plenty of time to test this mount and bearing. I have raced probably ten or so races with this and it is still working like brand new. No gritty feeling at all in the bearing and I race in very dusty conditions. I would recommend if you get this to buy either the traxxas or king Headz aluminum adapter for use with this as the Robinson brass one does not work well with it. I do make sure to clean the outer seals of the bearing after each race day so there is not a lot of dirt build up on the outside of the bearing. I highly recommend this to any slash 4x4 owner. It is well worth the money spent, and might save you some money on replacing the small bearing all the time.

Absolute must have if you have modified anything on your cart. Or if you're just tired of wadding-up the stock bits 'cause you had the audacity to run your rig in dirt......that traveled down the driveshaft "debris collection chute" and wreaked havok with the poor, unsuspecting, under-engineered stock bits. If you listen closely, you can hear the factory parts screaming in terror as they realize that their world was never destined to survive. This is a fantastic upgrade. I purchased this set as well as a couple of extra bearings, just in case. Still beating the buhjeezus out of the originals while the spares collect dust.

this is a must have!!! i run these in both of my slashes and haven't had any problems. the stock bearings would fail every few weeks running in the dirt, these are still smooth as can be after months of bashing!

Amazing product! I have run this in my slash the whole summer season at a really dusty track and haven't blown a bearing yet. King Headz even includes a spare bearing!

GREAT design! One thing to remember. As with ALL bearings, after a while they will need maintenance. Debris will build up in the races and will eventually cause a seize condition or failure. Simply remove the bearing, then one of the seals, and then clean with brake cleaner. Let dry completely then add a small amount of oil or dry lube and you're good to go.

As always King Headz turned out another fantastic part. I never ran the stock bearing carrier but after all I have read about it I picked this up along with my slash, and after about 25 packs threw It all still looks brand NEW. I have always been a fan of King Heads parts and this is yet another reason why!!!

Traxxas should learn something from this part! I have a lot of hours on this King Headz now and It holds up amazingly. Compared to maybe 2 hours on the stock bearings before there destruction. Very strong and durable. A MUST HAVE!

I have the 550 ballistic in my slash 4x4 and the original size bearing would wear out in a couple of race days, so needed replacing every other race day. But since installing this mount with larger bearing, have not needed to change it yet with five race days on it! So I would say it is a great upgrade!

The one area I had trouble with on my Slash 4x4 was the bearing on front of the center diff siezing. It happened to me twice, the second time costing me a race I'm pretty sure I was gonna win. Anyway, I replaced the plastic Traxxas bulkhead with the aluminum King Headz part and it's much beefier bearing. Problem solved. This part is an excellent upgrade for anybody that's racing a Slash 4x4.

This is a must have if you have been having motor mount Bearing failure.

If you have a Slash 4x4, you must have this part. King Headz quality comes through again!! Even includes an extra bearing, but I don't think i'll ever need it. The larger bearing is a hog!!

The bearing ceased first use, what a headache for so much money.

I'm not sure how the others gave it such good reviews, the mount was garbage.
