This is an optional King Headz SCTE Upper Steering Plate. This steering plate has been designed to increase the rigidity between the top plate and the front shock tower. The upper shock tower bolts screw into the upper plate screws and eliminate the chance of the upper plate screws getting pulled out of the bulkhead in a bad crash.
Includes:
- (1) Upper Steering Plate
- (1) Upper Steering Plate Block
- (2) 5-40 x 3/8 FHCS Alloy (Used to mount block to bulkhead)
- (2) 5-40 x 5/8 BHCS Alloy (Used to mount shock tower to steering plate)
- (1) 1/8" HSS Drill Bit (Used to drill shock tower mounting holes larger)

King Headz SCTE Upper Steering Plate
I bought a used SCTE 2.0 from someone that had the aluminum steering plate from Losi. I saw this and bought it here and I think it's a really great upgrade over that piece because of the way it also acts as a mount/ support for the carbon shock tower.
It makes everything so strong and it looks great! I would highly recommend this!
