This is a optional King Headz rear chassis brace, intended for use with the Associated RC8T. This Rear Chassis Brace is CNC machined from 7075 aircraft grade aluminum and Anodized. These are designed to increase rigidity and add strength. The brace has a pocket to capture a lock nut.

King Headz Associated RC8T Rear Chassis Brace
Excellent brace. someone knocked a star because the screw should be a larger diameter... How? the hole in the chassis is only drilled for a 3mm screw. lol. anyway, the Kingheadz braces are better than the FT braces! this goes for the front/rear for the RC8 and RC8T, i don't have experience with other brands. What makes them better is that they contact the chassis next to the hole, closer to the diff, instead of at the hole, for a shorter braced distance. hard to explain but if you see it installed you'll understand. It increases the bracing VS stock/FT, and you can feel the reduced flex. Awesome!
All Kingheads stuff is really pricey, but for this I'd say it's worth it due to the actual upgrade factor vs just bling, which is a plus if you're sick of the FT blue color like I am.
