Killerbody Toyota Land Cruiser LC70 Painted 1/10 Crawler Hard Body Kit (TRX-4)
I purchased this body for the Traxxas TRX-4 1/10 Scale Trail Rock Crawler Assembly Kit I had purchased. Killerbody has it listed on AMain Hobbies to fit TRX4. Nowhere does it explain that modifications need to be made like removing chassis fender wells , bumpers and more. Both AMain Hobby item description and Killerbody instructions make NO note that modifications need to be made as well as purchasing extra parts to make this body fit the TRX4. Killerbody also labels the product box that it fits TRX4.
Even as a beginner in this hobby the consumer should be made aware that modifications and other expeensives need to be made to make this body fit. Amain Hobbies should give their customers better product information on products and understand that we are not all experienced.
After calling Amain Hobbies Tech Support 3 times they have resolved the part I need to connect all 4 upper shock mounts after removing all 4 Fender wells. It still left me with no way to attach the Panhand suspension rod to the chassis. That rod mount is also incorporated into the Left frond fender. I was promised a call back, after 3 business days still no response from them. Anyone have any suggestions what I need to secure the Panhand rod to the chassis?

Killerbody Toyota Land Cruiser LC70 Painted 1/10 Crawler Hard Body Kit (TRX-4)
Arrived fast and on time. This will be the first killerbody kit I have bought. I have the trx4 sport and defender plus an extra extention set, so I will decide which to change. I also have a trx4 winch set on each vehicle. I have to check whether to change front bumpers or not to the one made for the kit. Also the converter kit for the rear shocks.
Thanks Wayne for the info. I did research on the problem fit. I am wondering how it will be for my trx4 kit with the defender body. I watched videos on the rear shocks and front mountings.I will try my winch mounted bumpers from traxxas.

Killerbody Toyota Land Cruiser LC70 Painted 1/10 Crawler Hard Body Kit (TRX-4)
Greetings, I bought this for the Trx4, the design of the body plus the accessory that they provide to secure it to the chassis is designed so that it is not easily removed, rather I think it is so that it remains attached to the chassis full time. To be able to do it is to remove 4 screws. How do you turn it off, how do you disconnect the battery, nothing practical. You must be very careful with the torque of the screws, it is very easy to burst the plastic part that is threaded. The assembly of the side windows with the doors and the bodywork is complicated, they do not fit well. Veryyyy nice good finishes. design of lines of excellent model.
