JConcepts Lockness Carpet 2.2" Rear Buggy Tires are designed with a larger pin used more in Astroturf or grass track applications. The larger pin of the Lockness grips into deeper surfaces and produces long life with the 3D blended design of the pins and center semi-circle protrusions. Designed in the industry standard 2.2” bead mounting size, the Lockness is very versatile and has shown to work in many natural and artificial conditions.

The spread out nature of the pin design allows incredible forward traction and the low-profile construction allows the driver to push hard at all times. The pink compound marked with 2 pink dots is a medium soft material with good wear characteristics. The rear tires include gray, open cell inserts making them a complete set ready to mount, straight out of the package.

  • JConcepts fit, finish and design
  • 3D blended, sharp pins
  • Semi-circle protrusions for side-bite
  • Pin to carcass radius for increased response
  • Carefully shaped profiled carcass for rolling speed
  • Includes narrow, gray, open cell inserts
  • Pink Medium Soft compound, developed for carpet and astro tracks

JConcepts Lockness Carpet 2.2" Rear Buggy Tires (2)
Amazing tires. For me, on my track these are much better a Schumacher Mini Spike 2 that is the favorite on our track (astro). You can not go wrong with these tires

Ran them on Astro turf and wow do the hook up. Straight line acceleration is smooth and predictable. Hard cornering they really hold their own. You can hear them digging into the Astro.
