JConcepts has hung the acronym SCT-R on the new body with the R giving it racing credibility. Officially licensed by Ford, the JConcepts Ford Raptor SVT SCT-R body is inspired from the ground up as an all-out SCT race body.
The Raptor SVT – F-150 body by JConcepts begins with the latest in 1:1 truck detail by incorporating the latest treatment in grill and headlight design, adding street appeal. Front and rear fender flares provide the clearance necessary to run an assortment of tires and wheels while maintaining that exclusive design and look. Extended cab design with recessed side windows, louvers along the front hood highlight a number of the front-end styling cues. Deep recessed trim-out locations along the hood and bed area provide ample space for air relief cut-outs which reduce the parachute / blow-over affect that is so common in Short Course racing. Short course inspired bed area with incredible detail finish off this extraordinary, tough design.

Good body, very thick lexan, should last well. Looks fantastic. My only complaint is that this body is advertised as being directly compatible with the SCRT10, which it isn't exactly. JC includes a template for mounting body holes and provides a set of holes with the label ofna/hobao. These holes might be ok for the Hyper SC, but they are way off for the Jammin. Furthermore, some very creative cutting was needed at the back end to get it to sit properly on the rear bumper assembly (which is admittedly high on the Jammin). Nothing I couldn't fix with a dremel, but I would have thought a great company like JC would have made a bit more of an effort to make it more compatible for the SCRT10. I love that with the body mounts in their lowest position, and the suspension compressed til the chassis is flat on the floor, the top of the tires still does not touch the top of the arches. I may update this with a link (if that's possible) to a photo of how to cut and mount the body for a Jammin SCRT10 at a later date.

Great looking licensed raptor body at a great price. Lexan feels like a high quality and it is moderately thick. For your money you can't beat it! Proline bodies are borderline outrageous at 50+ dollars, it's plastic for crying out loud!
