This is a set of two JConcepts Choppers SC Tires in Blue compound, Pre-Mounted on Black Hazzard Wheels. These are intended for use with any truck that uses the Traxxas Slash rear offset wheel. After the racing success of the JConcepts Short Course tires and accessories, drivers have asked for an all-terrain alternative aimed toward high-end bashing performance. Inspired from some of the most successful JConcepts Racing Tires, the Choppers have the look, fit and finish of a hard-core racing tire on steroids. Whether you are an experienced racer or beginning driver, the Choppers in blue compound are designed to tear up surfaces ranging from grass and gravel to dirt and asphalt.
The Hazard 12mm hex wheel has a powerful look that combines the winning combination of a 10 spoke design, bead-lock appearance and center lug nut detail with a hint of inspiration from yesteryear. Already a champion, the Hazard wheel earned the top qualifying position and 1st place at the 2011 ROAR Off-Road Nationals in the Pro 2 modified class in the hands of Ryan Maifield. A dominating performance taking the TQ in the first 3 rounds of qualifying and 1st place in A1 and A2 to retain the title for JConcepts.
Wheel profile, interior and exterior ribbing, and spoke design were all areas of focus while creating the combination of durability, clearance, functionality and appearance. With 3 color options and a matte face appearance, being unique is worry free as practically any paint scheme can be matched to these exciting new wheels. Great basher tires, but not so great for racing. When new, these tires tend to roll out from under themselves, meaning the soft compound of the tire allows the tall knobbies flex too much and the tires lose a little traction in all directions. Good long lasting tire for the hard basher though. 5 stars for bashing, 3 stars for racing.
