JConcepts Analog Quick Reference Calipers allow users to reference dimensions quickly. Racers have asked over and over for a small footprint item that is able to measure small spaces accurately and quickly. The quick reference calipers are analog based and capable to be locked into place to secure or save dimensions for later or to copy side-to-side. The all-aluminum built and anodized item, built from 4 pieces, is a very technical and precise piece.

The quick reference tool has the ability to measure inside surfaces and outside surfaces depending on which end is chosen for use. A metric graduated scale is laser etched onto the item to allow the user to measure in .5mm increments. A thumbscrew allows the sliding plane to be locked into place for quick comparisons and reference distances. A display window is machined into the upper slide where dimensions are shown up to an overall length of 80mm. A small overall size makes it ideal to place in to RC sized tool and lock boxes used routinely out in the field.

Notes from the team
Drivers on the team use the quick reference calipers to measure pre-load on shock collars, turnbuckle lengths for kit builds and rebuilds. It is also helpful to measure screw lengths and diameters along with washer thicknesses at the time of building or tuning. If you have a small dimension in question, you can always turn to the quick reference caliper for an answer.

Features:
  • JConcepts design and function
  • Highly detailed design, 4-piece construction
  • Graduated scale measuring in .5mm increments to 80mm
  • Lockable sliding plane to save reference dimensions

JConcepts Analog Quick Reference Calipers
i have to say as a Machinist for 37 years if one is going to "Pay" this for these? they "Look Pretty"?????
and maybe there ok??? but? "IF" going to pay what is advertised??????
i would "Recommend" these: Neiko Digital Caliper, Mitutoyo Digital Caliper, Igaging Digital Caliper.
these are Usually what Machine operators will use in Measuring and will last a "Lifetime"
Miututoyo's are pricey! but worth weight in Precision, Igaging are best in price and precision to "Match Mitutoyo's" ranges and some can download measurments for references later just like Mitutoyo's and "ARE" better than most and can be around $50.00 to $75.00 but are far Superior to hobby grade knockoff's if one is looking for this Precision at over $50.00+
for there JC ones? there seems to be no indication of there Origin?? and could be Harbor freight "Knockoffs" made to order?
common practice for manufactures in R/C, they have a Bling look? but really a $10.00 caliper made to "Look Pretty"??
i think a good practice should be for R/C manufactures to be More "HONEST" with the buyers of there goods? though much is of "Chinese Origin" and we can accept that but? often sold at "Rolex Type Pricing" for "Chinezium" goods? is unfair to the end user.
