JConcepts 48 Pitch, 90 Tooth "Silent Speed" Machined Spur Gear, and is intended for use with the Traxxas Slash, Rustler and Stampede 1/10 scale 2WD electric vehicles. Silent Speed spur gears are precision machined making them uniquely concentric over standard or molded gears giving the user a consistent gear mesh allowing a more precise adjustment and more “silence” on the race track. The detailed machining provides a pattern vented area and secured slipper pad on both sides giving more consistent slipper performance. The gears are marked for size in 2 different ways so they are identifiable either assembled within a slipper assembly or as a stand-alone part. Silent Speed spur gears are also branded with the small JC logo for brand identification and authenticity.

I'm surprised there are no reviews for this spur. Amain, please stock the other sizes (71, 86)!!! This spur is well worth the high price, as it's very quiet and offers smooth performance. Coupled with a high quality and quiet tranny, this brings a greatee appreciation for racing and bashing. No longer do you need to listen to the grinding of gears. This spur is a must-have if you like to stealth race your car in suburban areas at night! Machined perfectly round, centered drill-holes, it's a big upgrade to the stock 83t spur in the Rustler. 28-31t spurs are a great mate with the 90t spur for controllable dirt or grass runs. You must get this!!!
