HPI WR8 FLUX Ken Block Gymkhana Ford Fiesta ST RX43 RTR 1/8 4WD Rally Car
Hide the women and children and pets too because the WR8 Flux is an absolute beast. It's loud (for an electric) and snarls and just plane screams 'get out the way' as you drive this thing around. It's almost too fast yet easy to control thanks to good balance, set up and 4wd grip.
Pros- The WR8 Flux is an absolute blast and easy to control while trying to 'get out of control'.
Cons- My stock speed control was too weak for the high power stock motor and prone to failure if it gets too hot. I upgraded to a 1/8 Hobbywing while keeping the stock motor which screams.

HPI WR8 FLUX Ken Block Gymkhana Ford Fiesta ST RX43 RTR 1/8 4WD Rally Car
I waited 6 months for this car, which made me quite frustrated, but i was patient and it was very worth it. This car is amazing. The tires it comes with have a really good and and compound and get really good grip. The stock suspension set up is very solid to with 50 wt. It's not too stiff for purely on-road, but not too soft where you going to bottom out on the street. I don't actually have a speed gun but i would say on 2s on the stock punch setting it gets around I would say 20-30 mph, and on 3s it gets 40-50 mph, On stock gearing. About the body, it has its ups and downs, Pros: Its the best body I've seen on a car, it glints in the sun beautifully and colour shifting aspect is super cool. Cons:1) Every decal is a sticker which I think is not really the best they could've done, and trying to find a body that is rally style that will fit 300mm is a pain in the butt. Unless you want to pay a premium to the people on eBay who want to sell their previous years' body for $120+ which doesn't include shipping which is usually over 30 bucks. Theirs also some other bodies you can find that are pretty reasonable but they don't come with any darn sticker decals! But, I digress, that was more or less something to think about when buying this car. 2) The front and side splitters are pretty darn low so you'll get used to the grinding sound of lexan on asphalt, the approach angle of the front bumper is really good but you lose an inch of that approach because the front splitter is s0 low. You also bottom out your 3) I don't know if I got a bad body or something but paint on my body is flickering off already. I've only ran my car 5 or 6 times and its already flicking off in 3 places, and it flicks all the way through so theirs just random clear spots on my car, but there not that noticeable. 4) be careful of your rear wing! the plastic is not lexan and it does flex quite a bit, but don't put and weight on it or else it might break. The Drive train so far is really good dog bones on all four corners no problems yet, but i'm not sure if my mesh was set incorrect from the factory it looks a little on the tight side. Please note that this drive train is quite loud due to the fact that is has a cast motor mount, full metal drive-train and a metal chassis. It's no where near the amount of noise a nitro makes though. I also took this car off road on some gravel with the rally tires and it did very well, the suspension is just soft enough for off-road use. The only bad thing is that 1 run and the whole underside of the chassis is scratched up, not little scratches like deep noticeable scratches. But honestly it depends on the size of the rocks your running over, because the ones I was were about and inch to half an inch in diameter. Another thing to think about is tires, you don't have much of a tire selection, most of the tires you'll find are all made by HPI but they are all good tires. And theirs about 5 or 6 of them to choose from. Although I had a little bit of problems with mine from stock: My esc was set to the wrong setting (It was set to FWD/Brake instead of FWD/Rev/Brake), I think the mesh is too tight, and I feel like I got a bad body. This is an over all really good car, and if your are pretty set on buying this car I would tell you to do it. Its a bullet on stock gears and especially on 3s. Theirs just a couple things to think about because this car is not exactly as popular as a slash or a rustler. One last things to say is that parts availability is pretty good, (well at least for HPI)you can find most of your parts here on Amain and on eBay. But hop-ups are very limited to I think pretty much integy and unbranded Chinese items on eBay (unless a specific part fits the WR8) But those couple of things are just a bit of a killer for me.
