HPI SF-10W Waterproof Servo

Had this servo in my RTR E-firestorm FLUX and could not wait to upgrade it to a HT/ MG. I am not impressed with this servo whatsoever. the flux motiv system may not supply many volts through the BEC which doesn't help, but as it came installed it left a lot to be desired. Kinda slow.. not much torque. Not exactly sure what the specs are on it.. ( around 44oz/in @6v i think i rememeber reading somewhere). but has to be at least .20 transit time... UGH. I know it is just a RTR servo, but i liked my old futaba s3003 better than this thing. it was a little faster. Just sayin...

yes this is a RTR servo im upgrading this servo because its crap is started to go wonke on me and as i was full throttle the servo just stopped working and my savage x just drove away i could not do any thing the throttle servo just stopped the servo works but only will work if i push on it pretty much helping it to move its junk!!!!!

Gears are garbage and will give out as soon as even a moderate amount of torque is applied to the steering column. Avoid this servo like the plague!

Same happend with my Savage were this servo was used for throttle, just a piece of crap, thats my upinium..

don't even bother wasting your money on this servo. My Savage X 4.6 steering and braking were controlled by this servo which gave out right after the break-in process.

I must say, this is probably the worst servo you can possibly purchase in the RC market. I can also say that it's not worth the $20 it's listed for; more like $2 if you ask me. In a nitro car, they're okay as a throttle servo, but horrible as a steering servo; they burn out much faster when used for steering. The Futaba servo in my TT01E lasted longer than this poor excuse for a servo. It's definitely not worth the buy; trust me. Just another overpriced HPI item like their one-way bearings.

I bought this in mind for rallying my tb-02, out of the box it worked fine, then about 20-30 minutes of run time the servo slows and loses all torque on the ground, but is fine when not hooked up to steering in the car
. Wont be buying one of these servos again.
