This is a replacement HPI SC-15 Sport Brushed Motor Electronic Speed Control with Reverse, and is intended for use with the HPI Sprint series, Firestorm Series, as well as the HPI Blitz short course truck.
This unit can handle any motor down to 15 turns, allowing you to fit any 'stock' motor, and even mild modified motors! The digital proportional circuitry provides smooth, precise control in a variety of conditions. The SC-15 also features reverse, so it's easy to back out of trouble!

Hpi products have never failed me but this esc was great for stock. The problems is that it may get hot and can cause it to melt itself away. The original one i got burst into flames. But Hpi's warranty is just amazing. I would have to say one of the best customer services ever, the sent me a new one THE NEXT DAY, for free. This esc comes with a 2 year warranty. When hooked up to the stock 15t firebolt brushed motor; it fly's like a child with a shot of Monster. But warning, dont use a lipo yet. It can handle a 2s lipo but if it breaks down, you wont be covered by there warranty. Your only suppose to use a 6-7 cell nicad or nimh battery. Over all the esc can have a tendon-see to break down you have awesome customer service backing you up.
