This is a set of HPI Molded Inner Front Tire Foams, in Medium/Soft compound and are intended for use with the HPI Baja 5B 1/5 scale buggy.
Now available for the Baja 5B are these tough molded inner foams for the front tires. Previously available only for the rear tires, this is the same high density black polyurethane molded foam that has proven to be extremely durable. Testing showed a significant improvement in handling and steering feel when used inside the front tires, so they are now available molded for a perfect fit on any of the Baja 5B front tires.
Some racers have also found that using the narrow Dirt Buster Block tires (4848, 4849) front tires & wheels on the rear of their buggies is an advantage on certain tracks, so these foams are also highly recommended for those applications.
