The Hot Racing Traxxas Maxx Aluminum Servo Saver Steering Bellcrank Set is an optional machined aluminum upgrade that provides increased strength, with a custom look.
Features:
- CNC machined aluminum construction
- Adjustable spring loaded steering arm protects servo gears during impact
- Two additional saver spring (Soft and hard compared to Stock Traxxas spring)
- Replaces Traxxas plastic TRA8946 steering bellcranks
NOTE: Use a high pressure grease on the servo saver cam surfaces to smooth the servo saver action.
Includes:
- (1) steering servo saver bellcrank with Bearing
- (1) Hard saver spring (silver)
- (1) Soft saver spring (black - installed)

Hot Racing Traxxas Maxx Aluminum Servo Saver Steering Bellcrank Set
If you own a Maxx, you need this. Period. It allows you to tighten the servo saver to a reasonable level, and makes the truck handle and turn way better. I highly recommend this and a Reefs 500 Raw servo. Makes it a completely different truck.

Hot Racing Traxxas Maxx Aluminum Servo Saver Steering Bellcrank Set
After the first day of running (just a couple of packs and not bashing) I found the servo saver seized up due to fine dust making its way into the servo saver and locking it up. I found this was the cause of my servo popping out of my Maxx Slash as well as one of the Traxxas aluminum C-blocks bending after a sideways landing off a jump at our short course track. Had the servo saver done its job there wouldn't have been this collateral damage to other parts of the steering/suspension, but there was no give where there was supposed to be which resulted in damaged parts. Had high hopes for this. Broke within 5 minutes of running, only ran it on the road in front of my house. No jumping or anything crazy. Just nice paved asphalt.

The stock servo saver on the Maxx wears out pretty quick. Just do yourself a favor and get this, even if you're not upgrading your servo. It makes a world of difference.
