The Hot Racing Axial SCX24 0.5M Spur Gear Conversion combines a .5 mod nylon pinion and an aluminum spur to provide increased strength and durability in the SCX24 drivetrain. This is incredibly beneficial if you have added weight to the chassis, or when driving technical terrain, as there is less risk of failure with the stronger material and larger tooth pitch.

Hot Racing Axial SCX24 0.5M Spur Gear Conversion
This bolts right up, just replace your stock pinion with the one provided by the kit. This provides a torquier gear ratio and allows for you to scale up obstacles with less rpms. This will not burn out your motor, I've had this in my scx24 Jeep for 3 months and will purchase again in another scx24 model!

Exactly what the picture shows is exactly what I got. The shipping was great like always, never complain about that. Put it in my Jeep with the OX 050 by Fat boy it's their new motor claiming to be better then the barrage 24 and it is better. That motor with this spur and pinion gear setup is beautiful. So I can recommend this part, hope this helped a little.

Not a good item. Makes it much louder, and causes the motor to lose torque and overheat easier. I have set the mesh perfectly, but no matter how you set it it's loud and overheats the motor. None of the items hot racing makes for the scx24 transmission are good. The other items they make for the scx24 and other rigs are great, and I recommend saving your money for other stuff.

Loud and doesn't work well, put one on both my jeep and c10. Took both back off to stock and it runs better.
