This Holmes Hobbies TrailMaster Pro 540 Waterproof Sensored Crawler Motor is a water resistant motor is made for the rocks and trails. TrailMasters use a unique stator and rotor designed to meet the needs of off road trucks. Tuned for best performance in rock crawlers, rock racers, and trail rigs. Only the finest materials are used in the Pro version to give you killer performance, high heat resistance, and maximum torque.

Holmes Hobbies TrailMaster Pro 540 Waterproof Sensored Crawler Motor (2700kV)
I bought this to replace my HobbyWing Axe 540 2700 kv in my Vanquish VS4-10 Phoenix. The HobbyWing Axe didn’t have quite enough top end and low speed control for my 8.5 lb Phoenix. the Holmes Hobbies puller pro is using a Castle Creations Mamba X and has excellent low speed control and improved throttle feel while punching the throttle. Note: this motor is limited to 3S lipo maximum, and even though I wanted to use 4s lipo this motor is excellent on 3s and is an improvement over the HobbyWing Axe . I get plenty of life out of the battery’s, and In the future I hope to buy more Holmes Hobbies motors.
