Holmes Hobbies Revolver V3 540 Sensorless Brushless Outrunner Motor. Do you need a small and light motor for your vehicle, but do not want to sacrifice torque? Do you want the finest sensorless brushless low speed control? The Revolver 540 is an extremely torque dense and lightweight choice with exceptional startup and feel that rivals brushed motors! The 540 model is two times more powerful than the "Snubnose 540" model, and provides an unmatched torque-dense driving sensation similar to a diesel engine.
Now the V3 has more mounting positions, beefier wire retainer, and thicker back iron. The magnetics changes give all models more torque, drag brake, and static hold! If you currently run a Revolver Classic, then you have already experienced the force of v3 magnetics. Improved rpm lock and anti stall characteristics make these a real pleasure to drive with modern Castle Creations and Holmes controllers!
NOTE: To prevent motor damage, be sure that screws are not inserted more than 3mm into the mounting holes.

Holmes Hobbies Revolver V3 540 Sensorless Brushless Outrunner Motor (1800kV)
I loves Holmes Hobbies products and run a lot of them. I have this motor in my Gmade BOM connected to a Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster Mini V2 esc. The low speed modulation of these motors is legendary, and runs very quiet with the Holmes esc. This is my 3rd Holmes Revolver motor and my frustrations are the same with all of them. The motor wires stick out past the motor mounting tabs and have interfered with some of the motor plates/transmissions that I own, the Gmade included so be prepared to break out your Dremel. Seeing several other motors of this style that don’t have this issue, I really wish they would address this. Nonetheless, these motors are as good as it gets for serious crawling performance.

Love this motor... originally had it running on a copperhead esc but I like running at night while the wife sleeps so the noise was an issue so now I have it running on a rhino 80amp esc and it is silent and the low speed modulation is incredible am32 is the way to go with these motors and since i couldn't find a Holmes brushless esc rhino was the choice and as much asni hate to say it the chinamen got this esc figured out.
