Paired this motor with a Hobbywing 1080 esc in my MST CFX-W. After some esc adjustments this motor is great. Super smooth low speed control and decent power when needed. Amazing that a $15 motor can be this good.

Another quality holmes motor (this is my 3rd, 1st crawlmaster though) came with new little stickers too this time. Wouldnt buy any other brand.

Amazing motor. Paired with stock tf2 esc (HW1060) it gives better control and more speed than the original RC4WD. Pretty amazed it only costs 15$. Really great value…

Paired with a Hobbywing 1080, this motor is super smooth. Has just the right amount of torque and wheel speed for my application. Yard bashing, rock crawling and general trail driving. SCX10.2 raw builders kit. For a brushed motor, it’s very impressive and the price is on point. Definitely will be adding more Holmes motors to my fleet.

Used this Holmes Hobbies 13T motor on my SCX10 ii Builders kit using Spur gear of 87T and pinion of 16t. The rig runs on 3S power.
This motor replaced the sister 16T motor and I can verify the claims of a lower turn having more torque at crawl/creep speeds even though the increased wheel speed was not my main focus.
Great motor for the value and is suitable for 3S provided you gear down appropriately to your preference.
